Philadelphia, PA – February 02, 2011

Goliath Technologies, a leading provider of systems management software for hybrid physical and virtual environments, announced today that they have acquired the assets of Aduro LLC. A privately held organization, with offices in Philadelphia, PA, Los Angeles, CA and Marlton, NJ, Aduro LLC provides IT outsourcing and managed services to the North American SMB market space.

The overwhelming focus of Aduro has been to bring the benefits of virtualization to their customers and then remotely manage their physical and virtual infrastructure. Small and medium sized businesses often times struggle to leverage emerging trends like cloud computing and virtualization. The virtualization consultants at Aduro helped customers realize the benefits of virtualization and cloud computing.

“This deep knowledge of virtualization coupled with the service provider mindset will provide a valuable perspective as we continue to develop our Cloud strategy. In addition, the Aduro team developed underlying technologies and processes to support their core business that can be productized into commercial offerings,” said Thomas Charlton, Chairman of Goliath Technologies.”

“My company has been growing and profitable for over 6 years,” said Raja Jadeja, Founder and CEO of Aduro LLC. “The services model, though profitable, doesn’t offer the same potential for value creation as the virtualization deployment toolset we developed to help us implement our services. I was looking for a partner that understood how to enhance these tools and bring them to market commercially. The Goliath team understood immediately the potential value of what we had and demonstrated to us that they knew exactly how to productize and market the finished products. We believe that as a part of the Goliath operating company we will be able to realize the true value of our virtualization deployment toolset”.

ABOUT GOLIATH TECHNOLOGIES

Goliath Technologies is focused on systems management software for IT organizations that address the evolving challenges of managing physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures. These hybrid environments require solutions that are scalable, cost effective and easy to use. Many legacy technologies are difficult to deploy and expensive to maintain and, as a result, are not well suited for this new paradigm. Inexpensive or free technologies, though easy to deploy and use, lack enterprise functionality and scalability. Both are slow to add features that are required to support physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures. At Goliath, we provide products that fill this gap with the right combination of scalability and functionality at a reasonable cost that embrace the complexities of virtualization and cloud computing. Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, our software is used by customers worldwide including ADP, ING Direct, Mindshift, Thomson Reuters and Shell. Global customers join our online user community to share information, solve technical challenges and contribute to our ongoing product development initiatives.
