Val King is CIO for Val Verde Regional Medical Center (VVRMC) in Texas. As part of that position, Val guides VVRMC as they completely rebuild their IT infrastructure and move into the 21st century. The hospital is a McKesson Paragon user and Val has dealt with all the technical, political, and compliance issues that come as part of implementing this type of EMR solution.
