John Hinmon, Vice President of Marketing

John Hinmon joined Goliath in 2021 as Vice President of Marketing to lead the company’s global marketing and communications activities. Most recently he was Vice President of Marketing for HID Global’s Identity and Access Management Solutions business, a leader in secure identity authentication and lifecycle management software. He was responsible for the transformation of the marketing organization and campaign strategy as well as supporting the restructuring of the IAM business area.

John joined HID Global as part of the 2018 acquisition of Crossmatch Technologies, a global leader in biometric identity solutions, where he served as the Vice President of Global Marketing. While at Crossmatch, he reorganized the marketing organization, supported the sale of the business to Francisco Partners, and integrated and repositioned the subsequent consolidating acquisition of DigitalPersona, Inc.

Prior to Crossmatch, John held various marketing, business development, and commercial leadership positions with Safran, HD Supply, and GE Capital Services businesses. He began his career in Manhattan as a consultant with Ernst & Young’s Northeast Management Consulting Practice and then as an associate with International Strategy Services, Incorporated, a boutique advisory and market consultancy specializing in the Portuguese-speaking world.

A GE Six Sigma Quality Green Belt and recipient of the GE Equipment Services Leadership Summit Award, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing and Management from the E.C. Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
