Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a remote team of BDRs to consistently achieve or exceed appointment-setting and lead qualification goals.
- Develop and optimize outbound prospecting strategies, workflows, and cadences using tools like Salesforce, Apollo, Salesloft or equivalent.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align lead generation strategies, MQL definitions, and handoff processes.
- Track and analyze team performance metrics to continuously improve productivity, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews to provide feedback and guidance.
- Identify training opportunities and provide ongoing enablement to improve messaging, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Recruit, onboard, and ramp new BDRs to hit productivity benchmarks in a timely manner.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic insight into campaign performance and pipeline development.
Qualifications​
- 3–5+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR leadership role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven success managing remote teams and driving results in a distributed work environment.
- Strong understanding of outbound sales tactics, lead qualification methodologies, and sales funnel metrics.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, Sales Navigator, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup-like culture.
