Product Implementation Engineer- Products for Citrix XenApp & Desktop

Goliath Technologies is certified Citrix Ready and focused on the exploding desktop virtualization space that is being driven by the continued migration to hybrid cloud IT environments. We are looking for a candidate with deep Citrix knowledge that can help expand our consulting services—a very exciting customer-facing position where you would truly become the hero for our partners and clients. The right person for this position will offer input internally to the development and product management departments to help enhance our award-winning products.
Responsibilities and Skill Sets
The product implementation engineer will work with Citrix Administrators, VMware Administrators and general IT personnel in this position to implement software that will help them solve their day-to-day end user performance issues. You will make their lives easier.

This position of product implementation engineer will involve assisting customers in deploying, configuring and training on our product. Our industry-first technologies allow customers to anticipate, troubleshoot and prevent end user experience issues that are commonplace with desktop virtualization solutions such as Citrix and VMware Horizon. We help IT professionals isolate the root cause of performance issues with Citrix, VMware Horizon and any application accessed through desktop virtualization including the major EHR applications such as Epic, Cerner and MEDITECH. Our technologies are deployed both on-premises as well as in the cloud on AWS and Azure.
ntation engagements are usually between 5 and 30 days including the final training workshop where you will teach system administrators and other IT personnel how to proactively use our technology to monitor and troubleshoot their virtual desktop environments. There is minimal to no travel required as the majority of the implementation engagements are conducted using remote access, teleconference and collaboration tools.
Your technical product feedback is welcome and desired. In this role, you may also be involved in cross-departmental activities, as your schedule allows, such as working with product marketing and product management on future product enhancements.
Requirements
4-5 years minimum hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- VMware vSphere (required)
- VMware Horizon (required)
- Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop (required)
- Citrix Provisioning Services
- Citrix NetScaler
- Microsoft Windows (server and desktop OS)
- Microsoft Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services
- Active Directory

- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong organizational skills
- BA/BS Degree preferred but not required
