We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team. Are you an experienced and motivated product marketing professional with desktop, and or server virtualization and cloud computing product experience seeking to join a leading edge, software company offering industry-only products with Fortune 500 customers in a high growth market? The Product Marketing Manager role is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market plans for the Goliath Product Portfolio which includes products for monitoring and troubleshooting end user experience issues regardless of where applications and users are located. Your unique skill set, and product knowledge will support our overall marketing and sales efforts.
We’re looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter that has a passion representing products that solve painful operational problems faced by IT professionals who are managing remote users. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the delivery of consistent messaging that highlights our differentiated value proposition, act as the internal subject matter expert for the products, development of marketing strategies and manage product launches. This position requires a combination of strong technical, marketing, project/program management skills.
Your Typical Day:

Developing product positioning and messaging by buyer persona, and ways to overcome competitive objections.

Providing technical solution benefits, positioning, and expertise to sales organization, product management and the internal marketing team.

Collaborating with Marketing on development of marketing programs, campaigns and additional assets, providing demand-driving content and messaging.

Supporting the development of sales tools and communicating benefits to sales and partner teams.

Participating in various industry and partner events as the Goliath product expert (webinar speaker, panel discussion participant, etc.).

Creating content for technical- and business-focused webinars, solution briefs, customer case studies, white papers, etc.

Collaborating on website, blog, and media content, providing technology insights.

Owning and driving market research, tracking, monitoring and reporting on industry, technology, and competitive landscape trends for responsible product technology area.

Having responsibility for creating or maintaining competitor profiles, analysis, reports, presentations, comparisons, battlecards, etc.

Collaborating with sales, customer success, and product management teams, capturing new product and feature requirements to improve existing product value proposition, identification of new value-added features development, and new product ideation.

Developing and executing new product launch and release plans and ensuring internal organizational and partner readiness.

Been a technology presenter with strong storytelling skills that make content relatable to varying audiences.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting or authoring industry, technology, and product related content.

Proficient time management skills and the ability to multi-task across multiple assignments.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

A minimum of 5 years working in B2B Product Marketing for a tech company.

A minimum of 2 years working with virtual server, VDI and or cloud computing.

A Bachelor’s Degree preferably.

A track record of managing and supporting successful product launches.

Proven ability to develop impactful product related content and digital demand generation assets (case studies/user stories, whitepapers, blogs, etc.).

Speaking experience as product expert in user and partner forums, webinars, podcasts and events.

A track record of effective sales and marketing collaboration.
