What Are We Excited About?
We are looking for a QA Test Lead to join our team. Do you have a passion for quality assurance? In this role you will be multi-tasking in a fast paced, highly energetic, geographically dispersed environment, leading product quality. The role requires a strong, deep experienced person to create and then manage the testing process, tools, and team for several on premise and SaaS products. You will directly manage offshore QA resources and work closely with development. Successful candidates require excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with technology teams and project managers. This role operates remote, but candidates will need to be accessible to the northern New Jersey area for team meetings, as required. Ideal candidates will be within 2-hour commute.
Your Typical Day:

Being responsible for strategy to ensure highest product quality.

Managing all QA resources (onshore and offshore), mentoring team members

Managing QA process (e.g., tools used, documentation, communication, team responsibilities)

Responsibility for creating and managing test plans, as well as defining test beds

Holding daily meetings with development team.

Assessing team and testing effectiveness.
You Have:
-
5+ years B2B technology sales experience.
-
7+ years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance.
-
2+ years’ offshore technology team management.
-
Direct experience working within a small to mid-size technology product company, driving quality through the SDLC process by setting standards and tools for developers as well as test organization.

Experience testing tools and process to drive code coverage, unit testing, functional testing, automation testing, bug tracking, test case management, performance testing, smoke testing, regression testing.

Experience leading testing efforts in an Agile, continuous integration and deployment product company.

Experience testing at an operations level infrastructure element: OS, Network, Hypervisor, Virtual Desktop, Virtual Application, Storage, Database.

Deep and diverse experience with new and standard industry test management and automation tools.

Experience implementing test automation strategies and frameworks using tools such as Selenium/UFT/ Tosca or equivalent.

Knowledge and experience with Git, Jmeter, Sonar Cube, Jenkins, Selenium, Load Runner, Cucumber Docker, TFS, Appium.

A BA/BS degree preferably but not required.

Ability to pass a background and security check.
