Philadelphia, PA – January 17, 2011

Goliath Technologies, a leading provider of systems management software for hybrid physical and virtual IT environments announced today that the company experienced record growth in Q4 2010. Overall Bookings increased more than 30% on a year over year basis with new license revenue up over 200%.

“The bookings growth was primarily driven by the Monitor IT product line”, said Thomas Charlton, Chairman of Goliath Technologies. Certainly monitoring infrastructure resources is not a new concept but the advent of virtualization and cloud computing is changing technical requirements. Many large vendors have solutions that are difficult to use and costly. The easy to use products from freeware to “try and buy” simply don’t scale or are limited in functionality. Both types of vendors have been slow to address the trends of cloud computing and virtualization. This dynamic represents an opportunity for us.”

“The ROI with Monitor IT is off the charts. The functionality that is available for the price is better than any solution I have evaluated including HP OpenView, Uptime Software, Nimsoft, Manage Engine and Nagios. This, coupled with their great support, is why for years I have trusted Monitor IT for my physical and virtual infrastructure.” – Donald R. Storm, Network Support Engineer at Pepper Hamilton LLP.

Floyd Roberts, the VP of Development and CTO of the Monitor IT product group, gave some insight into the products success in the market place. He stated, “The Monitor IT product was specifically designed to fill the gap between high cost monitoring solutions and the limited functionality of lower priced alternatives. The team here designed a product that is easy to install and use with scalable enterprise functionality at an affordable price point.” He continued, “We took our base design and extended the product to cover our customers virtual infrastructure and the emerging requirements driven by service providers. We are well positioned for the coming year.”
