Goliath Hits Revenue Record for First Half of 2014

Focus on Proactive Performance Management of Virtual Server, Virtual Desktop, and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Drives Growth

CONSHOCKEN, PA– July 22, 2014– Goliath Technologies, the leading provider of Proactive IT Operations solutions, has continued the trend of record breaking revenue growth driven by new client acquisition and a 100% increase in new license revenue.

During the first half of 2014, notable companies like KMPG, UHS, St. Luke’s University Health Network, SOFI Bank, National Treasury Administration, and Korean Air selected Goliath Technologies as their solution for the performance monitoring, analysis, reporting, and remediation of issues in their complex virtual server, virtual desktop, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.

“The overwhelming majority of IT departments are hybrid and in some stage of adopting elements of virtual server, virtual desktop and/or cloud,” said Thomas Charlton, Chairman and CEO of Goliath Technologies. “System administrators generally have tools that were designed for legacy physical infrastructure so it is difficult to contend with virtual servers and, even more so, virtual desktops. Our technologies are architected specifically for virtual servers and desktops but also interoperate with the legacy systems. Our decision to co-exist with legacy vendors and focus on emerging platforms and VDI has been very well received as evidenced by our growth.”

Goliath’s products also received major functionality enhancements in 2014 including User Session Drill Down, Integration with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.5, Alert Resolution Feature, User Audit Report, and VMware Storage Performance Graphs. This was highlighted by the release of the Logon Duration Reports.

“IT managers can now break down a user’s logon process into each stage to identify and troubleshoot session load problems and set up threshold-based alerting based on user logon time for a truly proactive approach to monitoring their entire virtual and physical infrastructure,” said Raja Jadeja, VP of Product Management. “This is especially important in Healthcare Systems, which is a major growth area for us. If doctors are going to see patients at 8:00am, administrators can use these reports to help determine and resolve potential issues with the logon process prior to the doctor attempting to log on to Epic, Cerner, AllScripts, etc. This saves the doctor from an uncomfortable interaction with the patient and a corresponding call to the CIO.”

“Working with Goliath was refreshing. We challenged Goliath to prove their ‘Proactive IT Operations’ claims by resolving issues related to Citrix, McKesson, and AllScripts. They spared us their marketing rhetoric, installed their product within one day, began trending analysis, and quickly suggested fix actions. In approximately one week, support tickets dropped by 25% based on their suggested remediation actions,” said Chad Brisendine, VP/CIO at St. Luke’s University Health Network. “We are in the process of implementing Epic and as part of the rollout we intend to utilize Goliath to ensure that the Citrix application delivery infrastructure is functioning optimally for our go-live date.”
