Contextual Remediation Enabled by Global View of the Entire IT Infrastructure that Displays Relational Dependencies of IT Assets
PHILADELPHIA, PA (PRWEB) JUNE 07, 2017
Goliath Technologies is the leading provider of proactive IT Operations solutions to anticipate, troubleshoot, resolve and prevent end user experience issues, regardless of where the IT infrastructure, applications or end users are located. Today, they announced new functionality to monitor and troubleshoot the entire IT infrastructure whether on-premises or in the cloud.
“At a glance I can understand the impact of distance causing end users to have on average 3-4x the latency and 2x the logon times because I can drill down through each layer from the Delivery Group and Machine Catalog to the back end infrastructure.” said Pete Chim, Systems Engineer at Ballard Spahr. He continued, “Goliath’s new Topology view provides me a single place that I can look at my Citrix environment’s performance, end user experience, and errors through a correlated logical representation of my environment, so I can easily recognize where the problems are taking place and what is being impacted”
The New Topology View for Citrix Monitoring and Troubleshooting gives an IT administrator an industry-first capability to view their entire global hybrid IT infrastructure from a single pane of glass whether it is on-premises and/or in Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure. The admin will receive alert notifications and warnings right from this contextual view which shows the physical and relational dynamic between the IT elements emitting the alerts. Then, the administrator can drill into additional layers of the Citrix IT stack down to the individual Citrix user session. Topology view does not require manual intervention to populate the architecture map or to add metrics. The setup process is automated via API integration.
“This new functionality fills a tremendous gap that exists in the market when it comes to proactively managing a Citrix deployment, especially if some assets are cloud based,” said Raja Jadeja, VP of Product Management at Goliath Technologies. He continued, “A dependency based or contextual topology view and the ability to drill down is nothing new to IT in general. However we created ours to identify not just the problems affecting one or a small group of users, but rather the global conditions affecting hundreds and thousands of users, with a single glance. This capability will make it easier for Citrix customers to be proactive and stay ahead of user complaints. And, if they do happen, and they will, we can help decrease time to remediation.”
