UHS Selects Goliath to Proactively Monitor EHR Applications

Philadelphia, PA–October 05, 2016– Goliath Technologies has been selected by Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) to provide Proactive Citrix End User Experience Management  designed to enable systems administrators to receive advance warning of potential end user experience issues related to their electronic health records applications.

Goliath for XenDesktop Monitoring is deployed on Citrix servers running Cerner applications and will enable healthcare organizations to get near real-time performance metrics, reporting, and analysis on end user experience and application logon times.

“We selected Goliath Technologies because the Citrix end user experience monitoring and management supports Cerner and identifies systems degrading before end user physicians are impacted. We do over 15,000 Cerner application test launches per day. Goliath Application Availability Monitor for Citrix XenDesktop proactively logs on to EHR applications and alerts IT administrators to logon failure or slowness before it is noticed by the end user community. The logon simulator for Citrix XenDesktop can be configured in minutes from any hospital location.
